Our client is a Tier 2 civil & construction contractor with a rapidly expanding national footprint. They specialise in Defence, Mining, and Commercial sectors. They have a heavy focus on bespoke engineering, construction & remediation projects.
The Opportunity
Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our client’s team for a project in the Hunter region. This role will predominately be based onsite in the Hunter region, providing exposure to the full life cycle of the project at site. Job Scope
- Provide comprehensive support to the project team in planning, resource allocation, and site administration.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress claims.
- Conduct job costing analyses as needed.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules.
- Perform precise quantity take-offs.
- Supervise onsite suppliers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
- Compile and submit complete tender documents.
- Ensure strict compliance with onsite Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Write competitive bids and deliver accurate cost estimates
What Are We Looking For?
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage conflicting deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to foster positive stakeholder relationships.
- Strong creative problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
- Eligibility to obtain a DCAC pass.
Advantage to Have, but Not Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Prior experience in project handovers.
- Proficiency in coordinating project meetings, data entry, minute-taking, and support with management reports.
- Competence in assisting with reporting tasks, including tracking project reports and upcoming deadlines.
- Experience liaising with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and vendors/suppliers, to meet submission deadlines.
