Our client is a WA based Engineering Consultancy boasting a workforce of 50 + Engineers & Drafters with a significant amount of mining project work running currently, and in the pipeline.
By way of expansion, they have a newly created role for an experienced Project Administrator / Coordinator to join their team located just outside of Perth's CBD.
The Role:
This position will see you heavily involved with various projects across the business. Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Work with various internal department to produce tenders and estimates
- Producing and updating contractual documents
- Assist with tenders and all other administrative duties for the proposals team
- Maintain a high level or organisation with document control, software management
- Work closely with Project Leads / Management to manage the cost control, planning and budget creation.
- Spreadsheet creation ensuring functionality for all areas of project planning ie. budgets, timelines, deliverables, standards & policies etc.
- Support the finance team with raising purchase orders, receiving goods, and invoice reconciliation.
- Facilitate mobilisation and de-mobilisation from site when required.
To be successful for this position, you will require the following:
- Experience within a similar industry (technical industries – Mining or Oil & Gas).
- Comprehensive understanding and expereince in finance, planning and cost control.
- Knowledge and previous exposure with technical documentation.
- High level of computer literacy - advanced skills with Excel formulas is highly desirable.
- Ability to learn new computer software and systems quickly.
