About the role
We are actively searching for a proficient Project Administrator with expertise in cost control to join our team at the forefront of a major defense project. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for professional advancement, offering an initial fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension. Operating on a 5:2 roster onsite, you'll immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your contributions are valued and your skills nurtured.
Join our esteemed team and play a pivotal role in ongoing projects within a dynamic and professional setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with the commercial team to gather data and process claims efficiently.
- Engaging with clients and key stakeholders, as well as coordinating with subcontractors.
- Ensuring the timely consolidation of daily timesheets and daily force reports.
- Providing support in formatting document deliverables prior to submission as needed.
- Managing rostering and labor resourcing, assessing project demands and man-hour forecasts meticulously.
About you
Ideal for an individual with a knack for accounting and a penchant for a diverse workload. Your ideal profile includes:
- Demonstrated expertise with over 3 years of experience in Project Administration, preferably within the defense sector.
- A solid grasp of cost structures essential for project delivery.
- Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems and adeptness in analyzing substantial datasets.
- Fundamental comprehension of project reporting and controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Strong analytical acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and a track record of meeting stringent deadlines consistently.
