Job Summary
The Project Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to project managers and the project team, ensuring project documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This position will have a good working knowledge of rostering, requirements on site for personnel and client requirements for onboarding. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and managing project documentation inclusive of registers.
- Ensure effective communication for all appropriate HSE information.
- Organize and maintain project files and documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of project budgets, including tracking expenses.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports and progress updates.
- Coordinate and facilitate travel arrangements and site rosters including maintenance of registers.
- Facilitate and manage onboarding of personnel.
- Assist with identification and booking of training to ensure suitably qualified/ticketed personnel on site.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project administration with a construction environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to forecast and predict upcoming requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
