Project Administrator

Ventia has structured its organisation with a strong Transport Sector with a focus on operations and maintenance of major road infrastructure throughout Australia and New Zealand. The North East Link Project is a significant PPP venture which will require Ventia to perform operations, maintenance, and lifecycle services for the 25-year contract term.We are currently seeking a Project Administrator/Junior Contract Administrator to support our Transport - North East Link contract, based in Abbotsford, on a permanent full time basis.Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to provide administrative support for O&M design and construction input for specific work packages to ensure long term operation, asset management and maintenance activities can be achieved in accordance with best practice and in line with O&M objectives.This role will suit motivated individuals with a desire to utilise and expand on their current skill set and looking for career progression within the Ventia business. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Coordinate administration tasks to ensure designs, letters, Change Notices and project documents are reviewed and responded to within project timelines. Provide commercial administrative support to the Commercial Manager and the team. Monitoring correspondence and ensuring the coordination of on time responses. Administering and managing tracking tools. Monitor daily/weekly/monthly objectives, taking appropriate steps should they fall short of target, and reporting on performance. Monitor and review communications/correspondence tracker. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have an interest and motivation to be involved in Victoria's largest construction project. In additional, you will possess: Administration in a commercial environment. Demonstrated experience, preferably in roads or other transport infrastructure sectors. Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrable at all levels of the workplace. Demonstrated success in people management, organisation and development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the use of TeamBinder desirable.
