Translation Project Administrator | Multimedia – Languages Focus, Melbourne

We are seeking a highly motivated Translation Project Administrator to support the Translation and Marketing teams due to continuing growth. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Translation Projects logged by the sales team are delivered on time and go through our quality management systems. 

The role: 

You will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external resources and manage all stages of a Translation Project’s life cycle. A hybrid work arrangement is available after 3 months of employment. 

• Liaising with internal and external language teams 
• Managing the budget for each Translation Project
• File management, preparing and sending files
• Communicating deadlines and payment of fees 
• Communicating with the translating and marketing team regarding progress

Secondary duties (when time permits):

• Assist the sales team in providing quotes and following up leads
• Assist with the management of internal marketing: EDMs, blogs, social media and advertisement 

Skills and experience required:

• Graduates are encouraged to apply (and do very well under the CHIN system)!
• Full working rights in Australia 
• A genuine interest in cross-lingual and cross-cultural communication
• Be a good communicator with strong oral and written presentation
• Track record of customer service excellence
• Highly skilled in prioritising and coordinating tasks

A salary package, benefits will be negotiated for the successful candidate.
