Roles
The role is to assist the Planning and Engineering Manager to support the team to carry out, deliver and manage the ongoing projects as well as preparing for upcoming ones in the manufacture.
Key responsibilities
- Closely oversee production activities and gather first-hand information of productivity, quality, production issues and any deviations or incidents
- Provide data entry and administrative support for the effective delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Track and report on production project progress
- Monitor and record any instances of rework, rejections and incidents in detail continuous improvement plans to optimize the sufficiency and cost-savings of all and other equipment as well as infrastructure set-up.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of outputs.
- Oversee the manufacturing activities and equipment maintenance procedures to ensure work efficiency while complying with safety regulations.
- Assist with engineering team, maintenance team and production teams for general machine troubleshooting when required. (desired not essential)
- Other duties as directed.
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Project /Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Experiences in similar roles, especially in pharmaceutical manufacturing are highly regarded.
- Familiar with best practices, regulatory requirement, and relevant standards.
- Ability to perform under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Eager to learn and open-minded for innovative solutions
