They are looking for a Project Coordinator / Engineer to look after Finishes on a large scale project in the South Eastern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Liaising with stakeholders from each department (design, development, and construction) and providing the necessary construction input and updates.
- Undertake due diligence reviews and communicate findings and implications to the relevant stakeholders.
- Analysing design documentation to identify risks and opportunities and ensure these are effectively resolved with the relevant stakeholders.
- Develop construction staging and logistic plans, management plans and methodologies.
- Develop design and construction programmes.
- Develop construction preliminaries and supervision estimates.
- Obtain trade pricing and feedback to assist developing project budgets.
- Communicate with and obtain required inputs from key subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, authorities and the like.
- Have 4 + years experience with a Tier 1 or 2 head contractor in the Victorian market.
- Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or equivalent.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving and time management skills (ability to work across multiple projects at various stages concurrently)
- Well-rounded experience across all project phases (concept to delivery and completion).
- Experience managing the design development process and consultants is beneficial.
