As our organisation works to deliver new vibrant and engaging guest experiences and organisational growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the delivery of key projects across the organisation. Reporting to General Manager – Strategic Projects, our Project Coordinator is responsible for the project administration function, coordinates project workflows and provides support through any stage of the project life-cycle to assist with the successful delivery of State-wide projects.

About the RoleAs our experienced and highly skilled, Project Coordinator you will support the Strategic Projects team in the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with NTAQ’s strategic priorities and project management framework. In this highly dynamic role, you will prepare correspondence, reports, and briefing papers and assist in the preparation of technical documents and reports for review ensuring a high-level of attention to detail and efficiency.

As a highly detailed individual, with a good working knowledge accounts and contractor management you will assist with the tendering and quote generation for contractors in line with the NTAQ Purchasing Policy and undertake financial project administration, facilitating the development of purchase requisitions, processing of invoices, receipt of goods, and reconciliation of financial data.

As a key contributor to the organisation, our Project Coordinator will communicate with key internal and external stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees, and consultations to facilitate the exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans. As our organisation experiences a period of growth, you will be involved in supporting the development of new and existing precincts and experiences and play a critical role in our future success.

This role will also assist our skilled Grants Manager in the preparation of grant and award submissions and will assist in the development of Heritage Exemption Certificates for those projects being facilitated within our Heritage listed properties.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will prior experience in a Project Support role within the Construction, Building or Engineering industry, with project delivery experience highly regarded.  Other key skills and experiences that would make you a suitable candidate include:

  • High level computer skills and experience with project management tools/ software.
  • Strong numeracy skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • General understanding of WHS project risk, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to maintain clear reporting and strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience and high standards relating to administration processes.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under limited supervision.
  • An understanding of, or experience in, the management of heritage assets in project management space would be desirable but not essential.
  • Be prepared to work in an outdoor environment, in a workplace that has native wildlife such as birds and reptiles.
