Approach Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading commercial construction firm working on a diverse range of commercial projects
The Role:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a wide variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mechanical, Engineering or Structural Engineering, or Building Services, with a strong understanding of construction principles and practices. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project team members and stakeholders to provide regular updates and address concerns.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, progress summaries, and change orders.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience working in a Project Engineering role, with a focus on Mechanical, Structural, or Building Services.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and service systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
