In the role of Project Manager you will project manage the concept planning, development and implementation phases of the nominated road infrastructure project/s to ensure completion in accordance with required timeframes, cost, quality and service standards.
This position covers all aspects including annual maintenance contracts, design & construct contracts, transport infrastructure contracts.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team that focuses on Rehabilitation, Inspections, Maintenance and Replacement of Structures Assets through TMR's North Coast District.
- Manage project teams, consultants and contractors to ensure all members are appropriately skilled and utilised, and to ensure deliverable, time and budgetary requirements are met.
- Investigate and resolve complex engineering issues associated with the program to improve overall performance and ensure value for money.
- Prepare and deliver submissions and reports relating to planning and technical issues.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
- A Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, or acceptable equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.Desirable qualifications and conditions:
