We are on the lookout for a motivated and committed Project Manager to join our diverse team based in Dandenong South.
About us:
Safer Storage Systems has been providing industrial pallet racking and shelving solutions for warehouses and retailers throughout Australia for over 17 years. We are the exclusive Australian Supplier of the Gonvarri Material Handling network of brands. In the past few years, our business has grown exponentially as we began manufacturing our own Australian Made Silverline pallet racking range in our Dandenong South facility. Our Silverline racking is of the highest quality and is the most sustainable racking in the Australian market – cutting down on CO2 emissions by more than 85% from comparable international sources. Our business expansion this year has brought in exciting new developments in the pallet racking automation space. Our partnership with Gonvarri Material Handling has enabled us to supply our customers with the most highly efficient picking and packing automatic and semi-automatic storage systems.
Founded and headquartered in Dandenong South, our team is now over 65 people strong and are based across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Collectively our staff have over 450 years of knowledge of the pallet racking industry! What does the job look like?
As the successful applicant, your responsibilities will be to;
- Manage end-to-end pallet racking projects, overseeing design, implementation, and completion
- Ensure compliance with warehouse design standards, technical specifications, safety regulations, and building codes
- Collaborate with clients to understand their storage requirements and develop tailored storage solutions such as pallet racking, shelving and automated pallet shuttle systems
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate internal teams, including engineers and installation crews, to ensure project execution aligns with client expectations
The ideal candidate will;
- Be self-motivated and able to work safely
- Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Have experience in Project Management
- Be flexible in regard to possible interstate travel
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Hold a current Construction Industry White Card (although we can assist with this)
The position is full time from Monday to Friday, with the general hours being 8 am to 4.30pm.
