Project Manager
NCC Group APAC are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding MXDR (Managed Extended Detection and Response) division. The successful candidate responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, on-boarding projects for NCC Group MXDR (Managed Detection and Response) suite across clients in APAC, including Hosted / Managed SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) solutions, EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) deployments, and NDR (Network Detection and Response) services. Experience within a cyber security setting is essential, as is experience managing technical on-boarding projects for enterprise size clients.

As an experienced IT and cyber security professional, not only will you excel at delivering projects for multi-national customers from the APAC region, you will foster and contribute to ongoing development of project management practices, processes and frameworks. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will take a leading role in managing all facets of projects:
You will be responsible typical project management activities, including:
- Forecasting and managing project budgets
- Developing project briefs, plans and proposals
- Preparing estimates for resources, time frame and cost structures
- Overall progress monitoring and reporting, and timely escalation of exceptions
- Managing the overall relationship with the client and client satisfaction
- Deployment of solution and supporting processes to the business and transition to BAU operation
- Define the project delivery strategies, work streams and products
- Successful delivery and closeout of the project
- Appropriate project reporting inclusive of RAID logs, Project Initiation Documents, Checkpoint Reporting, and Project Plans, and project closure reports including all lessons learnt.
- Leading daily stand-ups with the development teams to ensure development activity remains on track
- Working with the NCC Group PMO to support a smooth transition of clients from implementation / on-boarding projects into live service.
- Collaborating with appropriate internal NCC stakeholders, including Account Directors in regard to commercial matters, SOC team members in regards to technical enquiries, and technical engineers in regards to service improvements, upgrades and performance.
- Client reporting including coordination, and delivery of monthly MSS reports.
- Organising, scheduling and hosting client Quarterly Service Review (QSR) sessions.
- Supporting the sales on client calls where required, to explain more about NCC Group MXDR service delivery, onboarding and operations to help win new business.
- Managing the overall relationship with the client and client satisfaction scores, including delivery of CSAT (customer satisfaction) surveys.
- Ensuring engagement and alignment with the NCC global MXDR team. NCC Group HQ is in the UK, so occasional calls or meetings with global colleagues out of hours may be required.
You will exhibit technical communication skills with demonstrable experience of working in rapidly changing client environments, to be able to act as a bridge between client, functional and technical teams on projects
Experience working in the IT sector, specifically within the cyber security area
Experience excelling in a corporate customer facing position
Prince2 / Agile project management qualifications are desirable
Experience as Technical Project Manager or similar technical / software focussed customer facing position delivering large global enterprise projects
Effective leadership, communication skills and proven ability to deliver quality outcomes within budget and time frame
Demonstrable technical experience in at least one or more areas of computer security, including:
Delivery of cyber security related software solutions or products, cloud implementation and services, endpoint software rollouts, network and infrastructure, targeted simulated cyber attacks, provisioning of security detection tooling, experience delivering cyber focussed SaaS solutions and knowledge of cyber threats
Proficient user of Microsoft Office (including MS Project, MS PowerPoint) and Outlook
