Project Manager

The Project Manager, reporting to the Operations Director, will manage the project delivery across current and planned projects to support new site development, ensuring efficient and effective execution of all key deliverable and milestones.
This position is a 12-month fixed term role with the potential to extend to support all project works.
Key outcomes of the role include:
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementations plans, including risk mitigation.
- Working with the Operations Director in developing detailed project timeline, WBS, gannet chats; initiate and coordinate through project management process.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Effectively liaise with related functional departments internally, third party stakeholders and contractors.
- Coordinate and manage third party contractors to ensure compliance, OHS requirements are adhered to during project works.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Capital Expenditure Management
- Work with relevant internal stakeholders on all related tender process as required.
- Responsible for internal administrative process regarding project related procurement and payment.
- Communicate with suppliers/vendors both locally and internationally
- Work with head office technical staff and operational staff
- Provide support to the Operations Director in delivering on time within scope and budget, achieving required quality standard and user requirements.
- Maintaining good stakeholders’ engagement in achieving project objectives
- Ensuring the achievement of regulatory compliance
- Maintain sustainable and healthy relationship with internal and external parties to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mech/Elec)
- Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in pharmaceutical or GMP environment, mainly focus on capital project and greenfield or brownfield development.
- Production line and facility experience in manufacturing area
- Bilingual fluent in mandarin and English is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cGMP and PIC/S guide to support product quality during project stages advantageous
- Strong communication and external liaison skill
- Strong project management skill with Project management qualification /Training/Study
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
- Cross functional problem solving and decision making.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, as well as possessing proficient PC skills.
