An exciting opportunity has become available to take up the role of YPARC Project Manager- fixed term until May 2025.
As many are aware as a result of the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Mental Health in 2021, Austin Health has secured the funding for a new Youth Prevention and Recovery Centre (YPARC) and currently in the tender for building phase of the project. Due to unforeseen circumstances the current Project Manager has needed to resign the position.
As Project Manager, you will provide leadership in the development of the Austin Health Model of Care (MOC), based on the Statewide Draft document, for the YPARC and delivering the project from design through to implementation.
The role will require strong skills and leadership in the management of the project using solid co-design principles alongside the internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the project comes in on time and on budget with and in line with the recommendations of the RC, operational and financial plans.
To be successful in this role you will bring with you:
- A relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline (social work, occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or speech pathology)
- Current registration with the relevant professional board, association, or college
- Minimum years of clinical experience and or management roles according to the Enterprise Agreement, specific to experience with children and young people within a tertiary mental health setting.
- Experience in project management or service improvement for mental health and wellbeing services
