Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the infrastructure uplift project for a tier 1 mining company. Your primary role will be to oversee the successful delivery of the project within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring all project objectives are met
Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
Foster strong relationships with vendors and effectively manage vendor performance
Ensure effective communication and coordination between project team members and stakeholders
Track project expenses, monitor financial performance, and provide accurate and timely financial reporting
Conduct regular forecasting and provide insights into project financials
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in infrastructure uplift projects
Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple vendors and contractors
Solid understanding of networking and infrastructure concepts
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
Strong financial reporting and forecasting skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret project financial data
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
PMP certification or equivalent is desirable
