About the Role
Supporting the Chief Strategy Officer, you will oversee the successful progress and completion of a number of key strategic projects. You will be involved in all aspects of project management, including planning, scoping and road-mapping plans, preparing and presenting Gantt charts, and taking project briefs and producing project plans. You will also be responsible for risk management and managing costing and budgets.
This role will also play a key role in partnering with stakeholders and building collaborative, effective working relationships with them to support business operations and deliver on project objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring that key deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Provide regular summaries and detailed reports to key project stakeholders, as well as monitor monthly and quarterly progress of KPIs and key milestones
- Lead the development and implementation of a project governance process to monitor the activities of the cross-functional team
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders including team members and external collaborators
- Effectively partner and collaborate with various teams to support business operation and drive innovative change
Essential Skills and Experience
- 7-10 years’ work experience in a similar, relevant role
- Previous experience in, or strong understanding of the automotive sector, including vehicle value chain business, fleet business, and vehicle finance such as operating lease or auto captive finance
- Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, scoping and road-mapping plans, preparing and presenting Gantt charts, taking project briefs and producing project plans, and managing costing and budgets
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve shared project objectives
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas and information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
