Project Manager / Estimating Hvac

THE ROLE

In order to meet the demands of an ever-increasing workload we are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator with good HVAC industry experience or experienced service technicians wanting the next step to join our team. 

We are looking for a team player, must be reliable, willing to learn, keen and punctual to join our already highly skilled team.

As part of daily responsibilities, you will work collaboratively with our RKH team and clients ensuring that projects are completed to the required standards and time frames.

The successful candidate will have good HVAC industry experience be able to learn if you are currently a experienced service technician wanting the next step. The expectations will be able to project manage client contracts from beginning to completion, exhibit a good level of product knowledge of Commercial estimation.

• Manage and oversee RKH projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality and safety standards
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules and budgets, tracking progress and addressing any deviations promptly
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes and industry standards
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate successful project delivery
• Good understanding of product knowledge of Commercial estimation
• Receiving quotation and tender requests from clients; inclusive of design/engineering drawings and project specifications and assist preparation of tenders for new contracts/variations works.  
• Reviewing drawings and completing take-offs to form part of our tender submission. 
• Reviewing key areas of specifications to identify key compliance allowances/exclusions. 
• Ongoing communication with clients for purposes of amendments and/or variations.  
• Assist with procurement of materials.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Other requirements for this role will be;

• Must have good computer skills 
• HVAC Industry experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication 
• Ability to foster great client relationships
• Great time management
• Ability to detail costings, prepare & submit accurate tenders and quotations.
• Ability to work to specifications & deadlines.
• Current driver’s licence
• Relevant qualifications/Licences
• Working with children’s check
