The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be expected to deliver projects from early stages all the way through the project to completion. You will be responsible for managing and resourcing the job to deliver a profitable build, with the aid of a project team.
As you know, as the lead for any construction project under your control you will be expected to oversee:
Strategic Risk Management
Procurement
OH & S Policies
Scheduling & programming of works
Liaising with sub-contractors and client
Manage the site team and contract administrators on the job
The Builder
Due to the amount of work secured for the next 12-18 months, this established, Melbourne & Geelong-based commercial builder is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.
Turning over in excess of $100 million annually, this builder has been kicking goals across multiple types of construction projects, over the last decade, delivering projects within:
Sports pavilions
Schools
Age Care
Fit-out and new build
Health / Medical
Are you suitable?
If you are looking for a new challenging Project Manager role, you will be considered suitable if you have the following abilities:
Be capable of autonomously controlling a project from the award of the contract to completion
3+ years as a Project Manager, or 5+ as a Contract Administrator and on the cusp of stepping into a PM role in your current CA role.
A talent for communication and dispute resolution
An ability to work closely and efficiently with co-workers, clients, and consultants
A resident in Geelong or willing to work in Geelong
