As the Project Manager you will be responsible for managing projects for your designated portfolio of Corporate Clients, delivering a diverse range of signage projects from start to finish.
Communicating and collaborating with both internal and external parties you will estimate and quote, monitor, plan, direct, manage and close projects whilst facilitating issue resolution to achieve great stakeholder outcomes.

EM Signs is a well-known signage manufacturer based in Sandgate, Newcastle with a focus on corporate signage. We have been a leading company in the signage industry for over 44 years and continue a strong relationship with our corporate clients including Mitsubishi, KFC, Mercedes-Benz, Carls Jnr, etc. We manufacture all our products in-house and freight to site anywhere in Australia for installation.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to our General Manager (Victoria Branch), your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating and communicating with clients and internal / external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
- Effectively manage clients’ expectations
- Manage key milestones with internal stakeholders including design, engineering, production and installation
- Attending weekly production meetings
- Estimating and producing quotes for clients
- Manage works to ensure delivery exceeds client expectation and meets budget
- Attending site meetings as the project demands
Skills and experience
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional who has the following skills and capabilities:
- Qualifications / certification in project management or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in reviewing contract, architectural and design documentation
- Ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment
- Proficiency to communicate articulately and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Signage industry project management experience desired but not essential
