The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has a Civil Infrastructure Engineering or Logistics background who will manage significant civil infrastructure renewal/augmentation. You will work alongside and report to a similarly qualified Civil Engineer to share design review, construction oversight on installation of city assets to ensure quality compliant assets are returned to city at the end of the project. You will be involved in:
- Technical input at design meetings
- Critical review and scrutiny of submitted design packages
- Liaison with the Project’s Design and Construct head contractor
- Liaison with State project representatives during design phase
- On-site presence and oversight on construction activities during the construction phase, including defects inspections and the asset handover process.

About you
- You are a professional and competent Engineer and will bring your higher-level technical knowledge and experience to this role including:
- Bachelor’s degree of Civil Engineering or equivalent
- You have previous experience delivering major Local Government or State Government infrastructure projects
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to adapt to changing project needs, multi-task, work under pressure and meet strict contractual processes and deadlines/timeframes
- Ability to consult and negotiate with internal and external colleagues / clients to ensure organisational outcomes, utilising your exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
- Australian Drivers licence class C unrestricted
- WHS Licence General Construction White Card.
