Project Manager - Mv/Hv Underground Cabling

Our client is a prominent global player in the renewable energy and utility sector, boasting a robust presence worldwide. With their headquarters situated in Broendby, Denmark, and a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees, they have established operations across Australia and New Zealand.
Specialising in high voltage underground joints and terminations, our client is at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions to the power industry. As they continue to expand their market footprint, they are on the lookout for a talented Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Eagle Farm.
The position
As part of the service team, the Project Manager for Installation and Service oversees project tendering, management, and execution to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery according to contractual agreements.
Duties include:

• Actively promote services, technologies, and products to clients and stakeholders, highlighting their value and benefits.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to onsite cable jointers and contractors, ensuring project success and team cohesion.
• Lead the execution of customer tenders and quotations.
• Effectively manage the opportunity pipeline using the CRM system.
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in the market, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies and industry best practices throughout all project phases, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Skills & experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical trades background.
• 5 years of experience managing small to medium-sized projects, preferred.
• Strong experience with High and Medium Voltage cable accessories is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
• Must be willing to travel within Australia.
