We're currently migrating to a new cloud infrastructure, rolling out a new online campus for students and delivering a data strategy. We are looking for a Project Manager to join the team of two Project Managers (so that will be 3 with you) and one Business Analyst, all reporting into the Senior Project Manager. Projects can vary in size, scale and audience - you may be responsible for one large project at one time or three smaller ones, and those could vary from affecting students only to both students and staff. The Transformation Office is a hard working team, where everyone supports one another and likes to have a laugh, even (and especially!) when things are tough.The Project Managers in the team will work closely with the Enterprise Portfolio Team to: ensure initiatives that align with Torren’s strategic objectives are implemented, assist in the development and improvement of initiative documentation and processes, ensure the correct stakeholders are briefed with the correct information in order to make the correct decision, understand the impact of various factors allowing new services/products to be properly introduced into the organisational processes and identify areas to improve the service.Project managers essentially support the delivering of transformation initiatives through developing, coordinating, communicating and executing project plans.The role is full time permanent, based in Sydney (Surry Hills). We work on a hybrid model.Who you are:To be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally working on large digital transformation projects. The Transformation Office almost operates like a start-up within Torrens University so we welcome people who are coming from a start-up background or who would enjoy a similar environment.Demonstrated experience managing multiples projects from beginning to end, in technical and non-technical teams.Ability to communicate well with all types of stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to adapt and be flexible - things can turn and change quickly within the teamExperience in supporting and driving change management strategyExperience with agile project managementWhat we offer:We support your personal passions, development and wellbeing, to make your working life a more rewarding experience.
