Due to a secure and exciting array of projects in the pipeline, we are seeking an exceptional Project Manager to join our high performing team. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role is an integral part of the construction leadership team. Ideally you will have previous experience in the construction of high-rise residential works and be a natural leader.
About the Role:
HSFT is on the hunt for a dynamic Project Manager to spearhead a series of ambitious multi-residential projects. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success, backed by a robust support team committed to excellence.
This role is not just about managing timelines and budgets; it's about being a visionary leader who can motivate and inspire. We're looking for someone who can navigate the complexities of large-scale developments with ease, ensuring quality standards are surpassed and stakeholder expectations are exceeded.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Project Manager with 2+ years of experience.
– Effective relationship management with all stakeholders including prospective and existing clients, suppliers, staff, contractors and others
– Provide effective direction and leadership to the Projects Team and site staff
– Ability to read Architect plans.
– Manage all aspects of the projects from inception to completion
– Complete projects within time & budget constraints
– Manage any changes to scope, project variations and defects
– Monitoring performance of production crew and subcontractors installers against estimates
– Manage all OH&S issues
– Conduct site visits as required and to ensure smooth and efficient project completion
– The role will also require facilitation of the workshops and participation in elicitation, analysis and management of the project requirements and functional design and also monitoring and tracking of the allocated set of tasks and ensuring their timely completion by the team members in alignment with the agreed estimations.
– Day-to-day, the role requires ownership of the project delivery processes, planning, acceptance, resource management and reporting for the assigned project portfolio; ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the within the agreed project scope, time, cost & quality; and management of project artefacts & documentation.
To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
– 2 years plus Project Management in the retail fit out industry
– Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
– Commitment to delivering absolute client satisfaction
– Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
– Detailed understanding of Australian Building Standards
– Commitment to OH&S practices and standards
– Strong time management & prioritizing skills
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Outstanding attention to detail
– Ideally, you will have proven leadership skills, work well with minimal supervision and enjoy working in a fun team environment.
