Our team in South Australia is looking for a Project Manager / Licensed Builder to join our team working across the Adelaide metro area on various government, industrial and commercial contracts, undertaking everything from day-to-day maintenance through to quoted project works.
This role reports into the General Manager- South Australia and is responsible for:
- Estimation of request for quotations (RFQ’s), tenders and expression of Interests (EOI’s) from preliminary pricing to final submission.
- Managing various contracts from start to finish including Scope definition, production of scope of works, Design, Tendering, Construction, Commissioning, Handover, and Defects Liability Periods for our government and commercial clients

Preferred candidates will have the following:
- A qualified Registered Building Work Supervisor license for additions, Fitout and refurbishment residential and Light Commercial/ Industrial license.
- Diploma of Building and Construction or minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in project management, projects works and estimation
- A trade background is preferred for this role, with demonstrated experience in managing an internal team and contractors
- Demonstrated capability to deliver projects or services to required standards within agreed time frames
- The ability to manage multiple sites at any one time.
- Strong safety knowledge and awareness
- Excellent interpersonal skills which will enable you to foster positive working relationships with a number of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to achieve strict deadlines
- Previous exposure to reviewing commercial contracts and strong commercial acumen
- Strong IT skills including MS Office. Advanced knowledge of excel would be advantageous
- Previous experience in government contracts not essential but would be highly regarded
- The ability to think out side of the box
- A self motivated, can-do attitude
- Construction white card and current drivers licence
- Police clearance and working with children check or the ability to obtain
