BioGrid Australia is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join the Data Science and Registries team. This role provides data curation, analyses and reporting services for funded ethically approved programs in the medical research sector.
Excellent interpretation of data requirements and data analytical skills will be critical to the success of this role.
Your new role:
- Support data custodians with data quality and audit reporting of their data connected to BioGrid.
- Support investigator-led research projects with the curation and analyses of data connected to BioGrid.
- Support and maintain database documentation for databases and data connected to BioGrid.
- Assist with the development and review of business processes utilising JIRA and Confluence.
About You:
- You hold a Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
- You have experience working in a health/biomedical science environment.
- You have experience with statistical analyses software eg SAS, SPSS, R.
- You have experience supporting projects with proven ability to gather and write requirements documentation that enables efficient execution by technical team.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written) including team and client relationship management.
- You demonstrate organisational, time management and prioritisation skills with ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities under pressure.
- You have excellent problem solving and problem management skills with a strong desire to 'do it right' the first time.
