About the role:- Provide reporting and analysis, relevant to project cost accruals and project accounting, ensuring data accuracy and data integrity are maintained in the various system
- Provide financial and data analysis to rectify erroneous data entries from Purchase Order and from
various systems that interfaced to SAP such as P-Cards and Contract Administration System - Provide month-end journal entries relevant to acquisition projects, travel expenses and P-Cards.
- Provide analysis and reporting relevant to new supply, asset under construction, project write-off and post-key handover accruals
- Ensure financial reporting, analysis and advice are accurate, reliable and high quality
- Any other ad hoc as required by the Manager
Preferred skills/qualities:- Great communication skills
- Experience in financial accounting, project cost accounting, financial reporting and analysis
- Experience in SAP, TRIM
- Experience in Ariba and any project management system
- Intermediate Excel (able to use formulas such as vlookup and sumif).
- Good team player with positive work collaboration skills
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related discipline and/or extensive experience in accounting within a large organisation ( NSW Gov. experience preferred)
