The purpose of the Project Officer – Crown Land Records is to improve Crown Land Record accessibility by coordinating the successful digitisation of approximately 11,000 of the estimated 254,000 Crown Land files held in Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) regional offices and researching the files when needed.Through record digitisation this role is helping to ensure there is wider and easier access to the files for all DEECA staff, that DEECA is meeting its responsibilities for the management of Crown Land Records under relevant legislation, policy and strategies. Being able to research the records will also help DEECA provide timely responses to inquiries, including, the Yoorrook Justice Commission.Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Expertise and experience in the management of records
- Research skills.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills and demonstrated experience in data management.
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2025.
