The Department
The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC) is a major clinical research methods centre for Intensive Care in Australia and New Zealand based in the Monash School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the Alfred Hospital campus. The centre is involved in the establishment of comprehensive research programs comprising surveys and pilot studies through to large multicentre clinical trials. The Role
This dynamic role is an ideal avenue to consolidate clinical research skills within a supportive major research group. The Project Officer will work with the Project Manager to provide a range of professional and high-level project co-ordination and services to support the end-to-end delivery of the BONANAZA and PRECISION-TBI projects. The Project Officer is a key liaison point between the project team and internal and external client groups, and works closely with these groups to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables. This position assists the BONANZA and PRECISION-TBI Project Manager by conducting onsite monitoring visits, producing reports, managing site files, providing updates and undertaking a variety of complex administrative and research duties to support the project objectives.
Qualifications/Experience
The appointee will have:
- A tertiary qualification in a health related or research related field (ICU background highly regarded) with relevant experience; or
- substantial relevant skills and work experience in a relevant field; or
- an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
This role would suit a candidate who wishes to continue to build on practical and theoretical clinical research skills.
