About the Opportunity

The highly consultative position of Project Officer - Work Instructions Framework (WIF) plays a pivotal role in assisting in the advancement of operational efficiency, quality and compliance within the Flinders International Portfolio, following a successful Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) renewal.

The primary focus of the Project Officer (WIF) is contributing to the implementation of a standardise Work Instructions Framework ensuring alignment with established Working Instructions Framework Policy and Objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance. This will be achieved by:

  • Collaborating across various levels of the International Portfolio to document and standardise operational processes into high-quality Work Instructions.
  • Supporting the analysis of current processes to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains and better compliance alignment.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure that Work Instructions accurately reflect operational practices and compliance and/or reporting requirements.
  • Assisting in the cultural shift towards working in a systematic, consistent and accountable way, through the Work Instructions Framework, and supporting the Portfolio throughout the implementation phase.

About You

Your inquisitive nature will enhance your ability to engage with staff and stakeholders at all levels and showcase your high-end relationship building capabilities.

Your high attention to detail and multitasking capabilities will enable you to research and collate information from a wide range of sources and an ability to relate tasks to the wider context. Your well-developed written communication skills will produce a range of written correspondence and documentation.

To be successful in this role you will also demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, within tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for document management and reporting.
  • Exemplary relationship building, written communication and interpersonal skills.

It is highly desirable that you also have experience in project management within educational or regulatory compliance contexts along with familiarity of international education sector regulations (e.g., Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency [TEQSA], Education Services for Overseas Students [ESOS] and National Code)
