- 38 hours per week, CBD location, 3 days per week required in the office
Candidates with experience in safety, facilities, operations or system implementation based projects is desirable however the ability to define and document processes when working with multiple teams is crucial.
This is not a task driven role, but a role that requires a high level of critical thinking, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
High level communication skills are key!
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders to update processes and procedures as part of an ongoing safety project
- Conduct a review of the university hazardous materials register ensuring the register contains the most recent inspection report
- Assist in the documentation, development and implementation of a new Contractor Safety Management software
- Ensure developed processes and procedures reflect system requirements, roles and responsibilities
- Provide operational support, including monitoring project plans, and ensuring required deliverables are provided
- Develop updated safety processes and procedures to reflect changes following system implementation
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in a project related role is essential
- Experience in safety, facilities, operations or system implementation is beneficial but not essential
- Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office suite particularly SharePoint
- Thrive in managing varying tasks and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team
- People orientated with an ability to develop strong relationships
