Project Support Officer Level 3

Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for a Project Support Officer who will play an active role in managing packages of work, schedule dependencies, project documentation, procurement, and providing administrative support. The PSO will play an important role in project planning, risk and issue management, helping to drive projects forward to achieve outcomes for a diverse range of customers.

Skills and Knowledge:

1. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of ICT Project Management.
2. Experience with Confluence & Jira applications desirable.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Assist with project planning, delivery and work package management.
2. Assist with development and maintenance of key project artefacts, including the project schedule.
3. Support the implementation and maintenance of appropriate information management and record keeping practices.
4. Assist with risk, issue and dependency management.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT.
Contract terms: Until 30 June 2025.
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 3.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
