The APS 4Project Support Officer will work within the Risk and Performance team at Land Capability Division. The duties of an APS 4Project Support Officer occupation in Defence include the following:
- Understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks and initiatives.
- Ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately and its application to the project.
- Provide administrative and Project Support, including project coordination, project governance, document management, and working in a team.
- Accountable for the operation of and maintenance of document and information management systems and databases, including Microsoft office suite applications, Objective, Teams and Service Now.
- Assist in implementing initiatives across the project to improve delivery.
- Ability to establish positive and effective working relationships within internal and external project stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines to achieve the projects objectives.
- Ability to be proactive and a self-starter; identifying opportunities for improvement and take responsibility for own work.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required and within reason.
The Risk and Performance and Risk Team is part of Land Domain Capability Management. Synchronisation of the LDC risk with the LDC performance and governance teams is critical to realise the complete LDC Framework. The whole team integration allows for consistency in risk reporting upwards and, as part of continuous improvement, greater efficiencies in demands for information and reporting from the Land Programs.The LCD Risk Team is part of Army Business Plan Risk Management. The close engagement of the LDC risk team with the preparedness and people risk teams is critical to both influence and to understand the impact of preparedness and people on capability; as well as identify critical controls across Land Domain Risk that have the greatest benefits to Army.Our Ideal Candidate
