OUR ROLE
As a member of our Rapid Insights (Consulting) Team we are seeking a Project Support Officerto join our Program Management Office (PMO) team to support the delivery of a large-scale digital transformation program. You will work within our highly experienced project team to deliver key milestone and capabilities within this program and undertake tasks that include:
- Supporting the project team by organising meetings, preparing, and submitting agendas, minutes and follow-up actions
- Delivering secretariat services for key governance committees
- Coordinating the provision of regular updates on project status via reports, dashboards and briefings
- Preparing and maintaining project artefacts, documentation, registers and quality processes
- Establish and monitor project changes and exceptions by reporting against scope, time, quality and budget
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing project procedures
- Design, recommend and implement solutions to issues or problems that may arise across the program
- Maintain project risk registers, including scheduling and facilitating regular reviews and updates
KEY ELIGIBILITY
As you will be working to a Federal Government client, we are seeking Australian Citizens who have an active Baseline or higher security clearance.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a Project Support Officer role, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working within a Federal Government environment/department is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills – including written, verbal and presentation
- A high level of organisation, time management with the ability to adapt and respond promptly to changing and competing priorities at short notice
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think laterally and propose solutions
- Excellent client relationship building and management skills, with the ability to deal with various stakeholders and translate their needs into a complete solution
- Self-starting, with the ability to drive your own actions, whilst also working as part of a team
