The role
The Property Accountant is an integral member of the Logistics team, providing high quality financial and management reporting for a diverse portfolio of Logistics assets. The team is at the core of all Asset Management finance activities for the Logistics portfolio and provides accurate, timely and meaningful information to assist in the management of the groups assets and to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
Please note - this is a 10 month fixed term contract.
What you will be doing
- Prepare, with accuracy, month end, half year end and full year end reporting.
- Completing tenant outgoings statements and annual outgoings washup.
- Forecasting and budgeting.
- Profit and loss review.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responding to requests for external audit information in a precise and timely manner.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of existing processes and procedures.
What makes you stand out
We are seeking a finance/accounting professional who has commenced their CA/CPA qualifications/is CA or CPA qualified. In addition, you will have relevant Finance experience, ideally from within the Property sector.
You will have strong analytical skills, with an ability to plan and manage tight deadlines. Your stakeholder management experience will also stand you in good stead, as you develop relationships across the business.
Experience with SAP and Anaplan will be held in high regard, as will your Excel skills.
