About the role
Graincorp is currently seeking a Property & Contracts specialist to assist with the property administration function for the Australian GrainCorp business and manage existing leases to ensure correct payment and collection of rents and other contract related payments. The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Ensure the terms of contracts are proactively managed and negotiate lease renewals in a timely manner.
- Proactively market sites for lease and assist the Property Portfolio Manager with due diligence work related to sites for sale.
- Complete property related transactions through to execution and ensure safe filing of all agreements.
- Address property related queries including those on existing Rail Licences, Easements, Title details, easements, and covenants.
- Ensure our real estate management system, SAP RE, is updated with relevant critical dates and documentation
About your experience
Candidates will have prior experience in property leasing, property management or similar role with retail, commercial or agricultural experience. Candidate will also demonstrate:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Rent collection and lease experience
- Stakeholder engagement
- Finance and computer skills including SAP, word and excel
- Tertiary qualification in property or a real estate licence will be beneficial
In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a national police check, credit check, bankruptcy check. A current, valid driver’s licence is also required.
