AddressHutchies is seeking a motivated and experienced Property & Asset Manager to join our hard working team based in our Toowong office on a full time permanent basis.
Responsibilities
As the Property & Asset Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for maintaining and overseeing a diverse portfolio of in-house and external construction and investment properties, spanning commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.
- Proficiently manage property outgoing and capex budgets to optimise financial performance.
- Oversee the development and implementation of annual budget and tenancy schedules.
- Oversee internal site office leasing requirements, collaborating closely with stakeholders to finalise lease terms.
- Maintain and manage relationships with external Financiers, Valuers, Property Managers and Leasing Agents, ensuring seamless communication and efficient property operations.
- Engage with legal professionals to facilitate lease agreements, extensions, and other relevant legal advice.
- Collaborate with internal and external finance teams to facilitate and manage funding requirements for property-related initiatives.
- Work closely with internal and external facility managers and construction delivery teams to ensure effective maintenance and capital upgrades, enhancing property value and tenant satisfaction.
- Proactively manage tenant arrears, maintaining positive relationships and addressing any financial challenges promptly.
- Assist the Investment Director with property valuations, providing critical insights to optimise investment decisions.
- Ensure the best interest of the properties by safeguarding their underlying values through meticulous maintenance and strategic planning.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the respective field for this role
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar, property analyst or property finance role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skill
- Strong knowledge of market conditions, property fundamentals, and industry standards
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft 365
- Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently.
- This role requires adhoc travel across Eastern Australia
- Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders.
- A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
