What this job involves.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Property Services Supervisor to work on site at a premium asset in the heart of the CBD, also overseeing the daily operations of 5 surrounding buildings totaling a NLA of 64,000 sqm.
The role supports our Engineering Services Manager and Property Management team, and you’ll provide service excellence to the tenants, clients and contractors as well as coordinate all trades and soft services that are vital to the operational success of the portfolio.
A snapshot of the day-to-day duties.
- Multi-site management of a range of premium and B Grade commercial assets (6 buildings)
- Compliance and Certification – ensure compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and best practice in relation to the maintenance of the properties
- Oversee all works relating to base building service contracts including fire services, lifts, escalators, BMCS, mechanical, building structure, electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration
- Maintenance and Risk Management - comply with all EH&S requirements including contractor induction and training on site specific risk management plans.
- Inspect building and plant to determine the extent, priority and safety aspects of any repair work required
- Manage utility usage and costs, maintaining usage records and liaison with utility service providers
- Budgeting and Reporting – prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget
- Manage Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety Requirements

You will have proven facilities/ operations management experience in a commercial environment and you’re ready to push your career forward managing premium grade assets.
You’re passionate about sustainability and have a good knowledge of building systems as well as occupational health & safety legislation and requirements.
Excellent communication skills are important– both written and spoken - and we’ll expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines.
