The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Prosthetics team. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position, working 80 hours per fortnight, based at the Royal Park Campus, but may require working on-site at RMH City, Western Hospital Footscray or Sunshine Hospital.
Your Opportunity:

• This position offers a unique opportunity for an early career Prosthetist/Orthotist to work as part of an established Prosthetics & Orthotics team, in a major amputee rehabilitation service
• Commencement is 2nd April 2024 terminating 1st of May 2025
• Be part of a team with strong evidence-based practice and patient centred approach

About You:
The successful applicant will demonstrate sound clinical decision making, ability to navigate public health structures, assist clinical education, and assist with quality projects.

• You are qualified in Prosthetic and Orthotic management.
• You are a skilled communicator and demonstrate an ability to be an active contributor in the Rehabilitation team.
