About Wanyarra Psychiatric Inpatient Unit:
Join our dynamic team at Wanyarra, a state-of-the-art 20-bed Psychiatric Inpatient Unit. As part of our newly redeveloped facility, we offer innovative services and a supportive environment for both staff and patients. Our unit is committed to providing high-quality care and promoting mental health recovery.
About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Wanyarra Psychiatric Inpatient Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute mental health needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
The successful candidate will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in an inpatient unit.
- Knowledge of interventions utilising the Recovery focused model of care
- Understanding and implementation of the Mental Health Act 2014, National Standards for Mental Health Services and National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards
