About the role
With such high demand for mental health support, our practice is on the lookout for a Psychologist to join our practice on a full-time or part-time basis, as either an employee or a contractor, to support clients with their Mental health care plans.
We are a dynamic and fast-growing private group with a position available in Parramatta. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have the full support of the Psychologists, Receptionist, administration, marketing, and systems teams.
Skills & experience
Key requirements:
- General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Demonstrated ability to engage clients and staff effectively
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team environment
- Willing to work with clients who present with a variety of presentations.
- Experience with trauma is preferred
- Dedication to providing high-quality counselling to all clients
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct client sessions professionally and positively always
- Work with a diverse client base with a range of presentations
- Conducting client assessments as required, including comprehensive history taking and relevant assessments to aid in formulation and treatment plans
- To evaluate and research as needed to prepare interventions and treatment plans effectively
- To continually evaluate individual client progress to make intervention or treatment adjustments as needed
