The Public Health Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Public Health Nurse to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To provide clinical nursing services to support the communicable disease control and immunisation programs within the Mackay Public Health Unit, Mackay Hospital and Health Service. This may include the investigation of notifiable diseases and the provision of immunisation services, whilst providing support to health practitioners and the community. This position will be required to work with others in the team to provide a coordinated response to disease outbreaks and immunisation in the Mackay Public Health Unit area.
