- Available to you will be working a 9-day fortnight with RDOs every second week.

Due to the current growth of our organisation, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Supply Chain Services team! In this role, you will provide high quality, accurate and timely procurement-related admin support to the Strategic Procurement Team.
This role will see you;
- Support internal customers on the use of the Direct Purchasing Method, including the conversion of requisitions to purchase orders
- Monitor purchase order reports and apply appropriate actions
- Research government contracts and other buying arrangements / networks
- Review, validate and create new vendor requests
- Provide support with resolving purchasing queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Provide contract administration services within the Strategic Procurement team, including data gathering, data analysis and general support of the Strategic Procurement Team’s internal Audit Program
- Conduct assurance activities as assigned in line with the Annual Assurance Program

Your expertise
Ideally, you will hold a Certificate in Business Administration or have proven experience in providing general admin & support services in a procurement or financial environment.
You will have demonstrated experience in;
- Providing purchasing services to customers in line with a Procurement Framework
- Applying contractual knowledge in the review, editing and compilation of supporting documents to assist the business in administering basic contracts and supporting their direct purchase activities
- Engaging and co-ordinating input from key stakeholders and other subject matter experts to achieve timely procurement outcomes
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and Contract Management/ Financial Systems (SAP highly regarded)
- Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Producing high quality results through applying attention to detail and careful analysis of significant volumes of data
