PNG Drilling is looking for an Administration and Purchasing Officer to directly assist the Financial Controller and PNG site operations.
Duties Include:
- Entering receipts and invoices into Xero
- Running Xero reports as required
- Receiving material requisitions from site operations and creating purchase orders in Xero
- Entering time sheets
- Monitoring backorders and stock logistics
- Assisting with payroll functions
- Booking of flights and accommodation (domestic and international)
- Data entry of training records into online cloud database
- Following up employee records and forms
- Ordering promotional items
- Assisting the onsite PNG team as required
- Assisting with Work Permit and Visa documentation for workers in Papua New Guinea
- Booking training courses
- General printing, scanning and filing
- Online ordering of various stationary and other requested items
- General front desk/admin duties
Skills Required;
- Xero experience is essential
- Must be proficient in MS Office – specifically Microsoft Excel (including formulas)
- Fast learner
- Thorough; with a good eye for error and changes
- Adaptable to change
- Ability to work with minimal guidance (self-directed) once taught
