A well established business located just outside of Wollongong, is looking for a highly qualified Purchasing Officer to join their high-performing finance/procurement team. Having secured their spot as a leader within their industry, they pride themselves on the service and product they deliver.
Your new role
As Purchasing Officer, your main duties will include very ad-hoc negotiating with suppliers as most are pre-approved, calculations on how much to pre-order for future and ensuring budgets are maintained. This role is a critical role within the business and requires exceptional attention to detail. You will also be required to co-ordinate with the logistics team and ensure that you have great follow-up.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this position, you must have a solid track record within purchaisng, and be able to provide examples that support your experience in this space. You must also be able to demonstrate how you ensure great attention to detail and customer service.
