We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Officerto work with our client, a leading Food Manufacturing site in Melton.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Purchasing of raw materials and packaging to fulfill production plans in a timely manner.
- Building strong relationships and rapport with internal customers and external suppliers/vendors
- Reviewing usage of raw material and packaging and setting appropriate stock targets
- Organising truck deliveries
- Inventory and conducting stocktake
- Data entry
- Assisting wth accounts payable
There will be full training provided, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
This is a temporary to permanent position, working Full time hours (7:00am to 15:00pm from Monday to Friday)
To be successful in this position, you will be expected to demonstrate:
- Strong administrative background
- Experience using Pronto
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Well presented with a positive attitude
- Available to work full-time hours from Monday to Friday and seeking a long-term role
