Purchasing Officer - Food Manufacturing

We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to work with our client, a leading Food Manufacturing site.Your key responsibilities will include:

• Purchasing of raw materials and packaging to fulfill production plans in a timely manner.
• Building strong relationships and rapport with internal customers and external suppliers/vendors
• Reviewing usage of raw material and packaging and setting appropriate stock targets
• Organising truck deliveries
• Inventory and conducting stocktake
• Data entry

There will be full training provided, with an immediate start for the right candidate.This is a temporary to permanent position, working Full time hours (7:00am to 15:00pm from Monday to Friday)To be successful in this position, you will be expected to demonstrate:

• Strong administrative background
• Experience using Pronto
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Well presented with a positive attitude
• Available to work full-time hours from Monday to Friday and seeking a long-term role
