SalaryA great opportunity has become available for a Motor Mechanic with experience working on a variety of makes and models and wishing to progress to management level.
We require the services of an experienced Motor Mechanic/Service Manager to join our mechanical service team. The ideal candidate will have experience running an automotive workshop or experience as a workshop foreman and wishing to take the next step in their career.
Reflex Automotive Engineering is a busy well-established automotive business in the Campbellfield/Somerton area. Our workshop is modern, clean and well equipped comprising a complete servicing and mechanical repair shop working together with our engine and turbo charger reconditioning workshops. We are a family owned and operated business and pride ourselves in providing a friendly and supportive working environment for our staff. Reflex is open Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The position involves liaison with customers, suppliers and the workshop team in relation to mechanical repair jobs and therefore requires excellent communication and organisational skills.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- answering customer queries
- booking in jobs
- allocating jobs to technicians
- ordering parts for jobs and stock
- preparing invoices
- cash handling
- performing mechanical duties if required
Motor Mechanic Trade qualifications and current Victorian Driver's Licence are essential. RWC Tester licence would be an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $80,000 plus per year
