AddressLooking for a Medical Receptionist for a small specialist medical practice. 12 - 18 hours available, possible job share.
Must be available for 7:30am start - Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
Applicant must have prior experience as a Medical Receptionist.
We are looking for a highly motivated receptionist who:
- Works well individually as well as in a team environment
- Work alongside our reception staff and doctors to perform general administration and secretarial work.
- Engages in excellent communication, both physically and over phone or email
- Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise tasks
- Work through and problem solve through stressful situations
- Friendly and positive
- Prior experience with Best Practice Software preferred
The duties of this role include:
- Opening of clinic
- Greeting patients and families
- Responding to any queries from patients and families
- Booking, confirming and rescheduling of appointments
- Processing payments alongside Medicare claims
- Liaising with doctors, staff and other allied health professionals
- Filing and scanning all documents
