AddressA part-time Medical Receptionist is needed for three Accredited General Practices in Campbelltown. Applicant will be part-time, 20 hours per week, with consideration of more hours for the right person.

Purpose of position:
To organise appointments, maintain records and perform other tasks to ensure a smooth and efficiently functioning practice that provides an exceptional standard of care to our patients. All duties are to be carried out in conjunction with the practice’s policies and procedures.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Greeting patients and other callers at the practice in a courteous and efficient manner, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, issuing patient invoices/receipts and bulk bill as required, enter and update patient registration details, prepare and record outgoing mail and posting, scanning and/or file patient correspondence, results daily or as required, general housekeeping such as tidying and cleaning of waiting room when necessary and undertaking other duties as required from time to time as directed by the practice manager, nurses and doctors.
Criteria:
- Demonstrated administrative experience or previous medical experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage general office procedures with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbal with a high degree of interpersonal & customer focussed skill.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Computer skills are a must and basic application software is preferred.
